Plan what you will pay

Unpick a membership fee

Ask what ongoing access buys, how long the commitment lasts and what is charged elsewhere.

The care fee may sit beside the medicine fee

You cannot learn every service’s charges or any patient’s actual payment from those adverts.

Do not assume a service follows that pattern. Ask what its own fee includes: visits, messages, review of test results, help with insurance, or something else.

Ask what access means in practice

  • Can I speak with the person who wrote my prescription after the visit?
  • How do I ask about a new concern?
  • What response time does the service state?
  • Would another visit have its own charge?

Ask for the written service terms, then read the parts about access alongside the fee. An answer about unlimited messages may still leave your question about visits unanswered.

Separate the offer from the usual fee

Ask whether a displayed monthly amount requires a larger payment upfront. Compare the full commitment as well as the amount shown beside the word monthly.

  • What is the fee after the offer?
  • When can the membership be cancelled?
  • What happens to prepaid care fees?
  • How is a cancellation confirmed?

Make the answer easy to compare

Write down the included care, separate charges and cancellation terms. If a term is vague, leave it as an open question and ask for an explanation. Use the same headings for each service under consideration.
