A medicine, a visit, a bill
In the US, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) assesses medicines for specific uses.
Semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) has different approved uses under those brand names; sharing an ingredient does not make their uses the same.
A telehealth visit lets you speak by phone, use video or communicate online with a health professional while you are in different places.
Keep the cost question beside the care question: who would assess you, and what would you pay?
Ask what the price leaves out
Set out a place for the visit or membership, the prescription, any lab work and later care. Ask for an answer beside each item. Leave an unknown cost marked unknown.
Can online care be real care?
A licence is permission to practise. Request the treating professional’s full name and job title, for example doctor or nurse. Ask for the pharmacy’s full name too, so you can check the right records.
An in-person clinic is another route to discuss. Ask the same cost questions there, including how test results and later concerns will be handled.
